The KC GRATE was specifically designed to preserve heat that would normally escape from your chimney and return it to your living area. With as little as two or three logs, the heat is forced back into your living area by a 1/100th horsepower motor.
The KC GRATE is easy to install:
· Insert the KC GRATE into the fireplace.
· Start your fire as usual (making sure there is nothing in front of the blower).
· Plug the KC GRATE into an outlet.
· Close the screen (or keep your screen as you usually do with your regular grate).
· Set the thermostat (sold separately) to the desired temperature. *
· Enjoy the warmth!
Even when the fire has dissipated and embers are glowing, you will still feel the warmth, as the KC GRATE continues to use the generated heat to blow the heated air into your living area. Make your fireplace an instant heater with a KC Grate. The KC Grate will make a great accessory to your fireplace.
If you should decide to move, The KC GRATE can easily be removed and taken to your next place of residence.
